KRIS CHAPMAN

Kris is a filmmaker born and raised in northern New Jersey, the birthplace of the American film industry. From a young age, she was captivated by the passion of her movie buff father, and spent her allowance at Blockbuster faster than she could earn it. Her love of film led her to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcasting from Montclair State University, and in 2019 she earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Film Producing and Directing from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Outside of film, Kris enjoyed several years working in the craft beer industry and is certified as a Level One Cicerone. She was a member of the Girl Scouts of America for twelve years, and spent two decades playing and coaching swimming and softball. She is a travel junkie and avid camper, and road trips across the country with her husband and two pups whenever she can.
